Movin on camp

Mckayla just finished her "movin on camp" on friday. The last day they let parents come and watch some of the things they have been doing throughout the week. Everyday of camp consisted of lots of activities such as gymnastics, basketball, t-ball, la crosse, hockey, dances, and all sorts of other fun things. The teacher kept the kids moving, and moving. After the first day, Mckayla seriously had a hard time getting out of bed. She told me she couldn't walk cause her legs were sore. I had to laugh because she is now discovering muscles she never knew she had. At camp they also did some crafts, which is Mckay's favorite thing to do. Here are some pictures of her fun week!

Four months old

I just love this picture of Seth. He is getting so big, it is crazy to think he is already 4 months old. Today we took him in for his four month check up. To be honest, I was a little suprised at his weight, because he feels like he a lot more than the scaled showed. The running total came to:Weight - 14lbs. 12 ounces (50%), lenghth - 25 inches (50%), and his head circumference - 44cm. (75-90%). He is heathly, and happy, except when they give him 4 shots. He was a trooper. All the nurse's were admiring him as I was leaving, and he just cooed and giggled at all of them, even after he had the shots he was a happy boy. We love our little guy!!!

Movie Fun

This week Mckayla is at a kids camp called "movin on". It involves gymnastics, ball sports( like t-ball, soccer, lacrosse, hockey, etc.) and crafts. She is so excited to be involved in something. This picture was taken the 1st day. She was very excited, and she couldn't wait to use her backpack.

While she was at camp today, Isaiah and I had some fun time together. All the regal movie theaters have free movies in the summer, so that is what he and I did. The movie being showed today was "Doogal". It was a cute movie, one that we have never seen. Isaiah wasn't so much into the movie, as much as he was into his big bag of skittles. He is a big candy lover, and there is nothing like having a sugar high to spoil his lunch. Needless to say, we had a good time just hanging out together.

Weekend Fun!

Our friends Matt & Michelle left this fun toy for us when they moved to Cleveland. Before we could have some fun we needed to buy a new battery. This weekend we did just that. The kids each took turns driving it. Isaiah a little more crazy than Mckayla, but hopefully with time they will get better. It is a good thing it moves super slow even when the pedal is to the floor.

We have also been doing lots of swimming here considering how hot it is, and we have a pool right here in our subdivision. Mckayla has been taking swim lessons, and is getting better. We were not able to get her into lessons for the summer, so we go to the pool as much as we can and we practice on our own. She insists that she must swim without her floaties, which is all good when mom is helping, but a good portion of the time mom is preoccupied with the baby. Needless to say, Mckayla thinks she is the best swimmer ever, and has to go a few rounds with mom, to put on the floaties. Safety first!

Happy Father's Day

I am so very lucky to have such a wonderful husband!! Today is father's day, and he deserves so much more than I could ever give him. You would have thought that today was mother's day considering all the things he has done for me today. This morning he bathed the kids, fed the kids, loaded the diswasher, made him and me breakfast. When we got home from church he barbequed steaks for us on the grill, and helped us have a fabulous dinner. You might be asking what in the world was I doing--Well to be truthful I was sitting around eating bon bons!! Just kidding. I love my husband so very much, and my children adore him. He is a great father and a wonderful husband who works very hard to provide for our little family. I love you very much, and thank my Heavenly Father everyday for you.

Matt and I feel very blessed to have such wonderful fathers. We know they have helped us to become who we are today. They have been great examples, and have blessed our lives with great wisdom. We appreciate all your support and love. It is days like today, that makes us wish we lived a little closer. We miss and love you very much!! HAPPY FATHERS DAY!

Dedication to my sister-in-law

I have the most talented, wonderful, creative, fun-loving, help you out with anything sister-in-law. She is truly amazing. I decided to try to create a blog, but after hours of fumbling around the computer, I called her to see if she could help. She took time out of her schedule and helped me (or should I say did all the work) in producing this fabulous blog you see before your eyes. Here's to you DEDE!!!! Thank you so much!

buckeye OR aggie??

So, I have given in to at least try blogging, I am not making any promise's on my efforts, but we will certainly give it a go. I hope at least I can use this for journal entries, and have something to remember how wonderful these days are with my sweetheart, and my three wonderful children. Seth is the newest memeber of our family. He is 3 1/2 months right now. He smiles a lot, and is a very content baby, at least content when being held. If he is set down, and he feels he is being unnoticed, he will be sure to let you know that he wants your attention, and he wants it NOW! He has just recently started to laugh, (which is one of the highlights of my day). He is a little chub, chub. I will find out in a couple of weeks on how much he weighs, but I do know at some point he will pass Isaiah up on weight and size. He is getting stronger everyday, and before you know it, he will be sitting up all by himself. He really is a good baby, you can tell he has a real content personality. His two older siblings, Mckayla(4yrs.), and Isaiah(2yrs.) absolutely adore him. They both can't wait until he is old enough to play along side with them. Isaiah tells me at least daily that Seth is his baby Seth. I am so glad the kids love him so much.

Most of you know that my sweet hunk of burning love, is one of the biggest buckeye fans (Ohio State) that you will ever meet. He has been working hard to make sure his kids are instilled with this love and devotion, that he so proudly bears. I have to admit, I help fuel the fire by buying things that display the Ohio State logo on them. I find it amusing. Anyway, Matt has gone to the extent of making sure all his children have plenty of buckeye gear to wear and display. You should all know, that if dad helps get the kids ready for the day, they will for sure be wearing something buckeye. Needless to say he is a proud daddy. This week I thought I would see if I could sway Isaiah into going for my school (Utah State, which all should know, mine is the better of the two.) To my suprise my sweet little two year old informed me that it is not Utah State, but Ohio state - go bucks!!! Who would of thought, all of my sweetie's talk of his beloved buckeyes, would sink into my 2yr. old's little heart. I was quite shocked that there was no waivering at all on his part. Now he tells me everyday "ohio state - go bucks, mom". Ever since I tried to sway this little one he has been insistent that he wear his buckeye clothes on a daily basis.

Well maybe I can't win Isaiah's heart, but I can win Mckayla's, or so I thought. Mckayla likes to cheer for the buckeyes, but I have convinced her that going to my school (Utah State) is best thing. Considering Mckayla is completely in love with the disney princess's, I played the card, that if she ever wants to find her prince charming, that my school will have more selection, than the one mentioned above. Just a little side note, she likes my school better because they also make there own ice cream. She would proudly tell dad, that yes she would be going to mommy's school when she got older. Over the weekend, as she saw daddy and Isaiah budding it up, with there buckeye cheers, and wearing there buckeye gear, and doing all there buckeye hoopla, she crumbled and walked over to the otherside. Now it is 3 to 1. Seth is still young enough maybe, just maybe I can put a plug in for the best school in the West!!! Go Aggies
