Yall know any good bars?

 Bună Bună!!

Highlights:
-Went to Constanța 🌊 with Sora Fowler! It was an awesome time, we ate lunch with the sisters friend who was super cute!! Then we went to an english club for Ukrainian refugees and just spoke english with them.
-Had another lesson with our friend Carmen and it didnt go as well as last time (trying to explain the plan of salvation and her daughter going wild didn't mesh too well 😂)
-Did another exchange with Sora Fowler, this time though on our turf 💪 with the other sisters in our branch. We went on a member visit to Oana Verdeața! Shes so awesome and has the 2 most adorable kids. During the visit she opened up about some struggles shes had and the message we brought literally was perfect! It was so cool!
-I had yet another exchange, this one was with Sora Haglund who came down from Oradea! Despite some terrible trains we had a great day and focused on trying to find better approaches to inviting people to church. It was super cool process. 😎 Our approaches definitely still need some work but it was fun to do!
-We also got to go visit Sora Stoica on our exchange and it was so fun!! She cooked us some gas 🔥 soup and sarmele 😋 I also asked for seconds on both so I scored some brownie points with her 🤜🤛
-Had MLC on Saturday and lots of fire points shared, definitely let me with some things to think about. 🤔
-Soccer at games night was absolutely fire. We played for the majority of the night and i may have gotten a little into it 😬 I got quick karma though in being so sore after and feeling old as freak.

Not-so-Highlights:
-Had a friend basically run out after church even though we had a lesson scheduled with her right then 🤷‍♀️ maybe i forgot to put on deodorant or something??

Funny:
-When we were helping out at the English club in Constanța they just basically asked us questions about our lives and america and stuff. It was going good until the last question when they asked us for suggestions on which bars to visit while in America 😂 we all just kind of looked at each other and laughed. We are definitely not the people to be asking about that.
-At Sora Stoicas after asking for more sarmele I asked for a little bit more smântâna (sour cream) and she puts a spoonful on my plate, i go to say thats perfect and before i do shes alread placed 2 more massive globs on my plate 😬 so basically i had smântâna with a side of sarmele and mamaliga

Gând Spiritual:
-Read this as prep for our MLC this week:
"The gospel is not a way to avoid challenges and problems but a solution to increase our faith and learn how to deal with them." -Elder De Feo

Homies, dejavu, THE SPIRIT, good food, and dejavu

Bună Bună!!

Highlights:
- Zone Conferences! Always so fun! Got to see all of the missionaries and its the best!!
- Carmen!! Had our first lesson with our friend Carmen this week and it was AMAZING!! The spirit was so strong and she is so prepared!! Can't wait to keep meeting with her!!
- Sora Isac! Got to see one my favorites this week! She always shows all her new projects and she is literally my inspiration 🤩 Her goal in life is to never stop learning and so she's constantly doing new things to push herself! So awesome!
- Familia Hyer!! Literally so awesome! They had us over for Sora Stark's birthday and it was a great way to spend our evening after the last zone conference #wewerepooped
- Games Night! The actual games and stuff were actually just alright it was kind of cold but then we decided to end early and clean the church. Then we went to the store to get some supplies and we ran into our friend Carmen! She asked us to come over to her house right then! So fun!!

Not-so-Highlights:
- Went inactive member finding and the only one we found was a member who says the have no connection with church whatsoever and they were not wanting to gain one either 😬

Funny:
- This isn't really that that funny, but for church our sunday school teacher didn't show up, so you know the automatic subs had to come in. We had been warned she might not come so we were asked to just look over the lesson. Well it ended up that Sora Reynolds and I had were the only ones who had looked at it so we went up to the stand and scrapped a lesson together on the spot. (With us trying not to laugh and whispering to each other trying not to have it be picked up on the mic 😂) It actually went pretty well but it just reminded us of our old Craiova days together trying to run a relief society class with our very little knowledge of Romanian, or basically wrestling a 9 year old to the ground for primary. Luckily now it was with adults and we actually kind of know romanian so a bit of a full circle moment.

Gând Spiritual:
- Cool insights I had from Zone Conference...
We read 3 Nephi 11 and were asked how the people grew there witness of the Savior.
First the people just heard the Saviors voice but the couldn't recognize whose it was.
Vs 3 "nevertheless, and notwithstanding it being a small voice it did pierce them that did hear to the center, insomuch that there was no part of their frame that it did not cause to quake; yea, it did pierce them to the very soul, and did cause their hearts to burn. 4) And it came to pass that again they heard the voice, and they understood it not."

I feel like this is a lot of people we meet. They understand this higher power, they know that someone maybe even God is aware of them, but they don't understand the fulness of it.

Then the Savior comes to the people and shows them who he is and tells them again.

"10) Behold, I am Jesus Christ, whom the prophets testified shall come into the world"

Now Jesus is not physically on the Earth today and so this is what we do as we "take his name upon us". We are asked to led people to him through all we do and say. This is what I do on the street everyday, maybe sometimes without realizing it, but always trying to point people to him.

And then after this the Savior invites them to come unto him and to gain a physical witness for themselves.

"14) Arise and come forth unto me, that ye may thrust your hands into my side, and also that ye may feel the prints of the nails in my hands and in my feet, that ye may know that I am the God of Israel, and the God of the whole earth, and have been slain for the sins of the world."

This is what we do when we find and teach people. We invite them to come have their own personal witness of the Savior through covenants. It reminds me of another quote I believed I shared in a past email.

"Covenants are the shape of God's embrace"
- Elder Robert M. Daines

As we make covenants we experience this same witness that these Nephites did. We can come to know Jesus. And I testify to you that he wants you to know him! As we do we have greater access to his power, knowledge and love.
I invite you to continue to gain your personal witness of Christ and to feel his love more present in your life.

The Ultimatest game of Ultimate Frisbee

 Bună Bună!!

Highlights:
-Went to Sora Cojocarus house on Wednesday! We helped her with the trees in her garden, cleaning up the weeds and digging around them! We went with the other set of sisters in our branch and it was a party!
-Got to see Sara this week! It's been awhile so it was fun to catch up with her and then tell her about general conference and invited her to watch
-Finally had time for inactive member finding, we planned out a few visits and most weren't home but we did get to see sweet Sora Gheorghescu!
-Awesome exchange with Sora Hardy! The only plans we had fell through so we just went finding all day, but we were both so stoked and it was fun!
- Went to a local service project to help clean up this park. There was a bunch of gross trash, but our friend Sara came which was awesome and we made some new friends that will hopefully start coming to Games night!
-Cool miracle!! Sunday as we were leaving the church this lady was struggling with her cat by our fence. We decided to go over and help her. We were talking to her after and she asked about when we have church, she lives in the block next-door and has always been curious. She then asked me if I had a link to where she could read about our church and then told to get my phone out and take down her number. 😂 She then told us where she works and wants us to come visit!

Funny:
- Let's just say games night this week was eventful. Usually we all are just casually playing and having fun and nothing happens. But somehow a game of... ultimate frisbee... ended up with:
Me getting a fat lip
Another sister with a concussion
An elder with one of the worst bloody noses I've ever seen
But it was actually pretty funny. Especially mine, it was like it was from a movie. I wasn't paying super close attention and then someone called my name. Then I turned just in time to take the frisbee to the mouth haha. I can't wait to see the playback of that in heaven 😂
Yeah but needless to say I don't know if we'll be playing ultimate frisbee again anytime soon 🙃

Gând Spiritual:
- "We can choose to trust God today and every day going forward. I promise that each time we do, God will be there to catch us, and our relationship of trust will grow stronger and stronger until the day that we become one with Him and His Son."
